The 30th Hong Kong International Jewellery Festival was held today (24) in Hall 1 in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, and a series of activities were held on that day, which were very exciting and had a strong line-up of guests. The opening ceremony included a speech by Legislative Councilor Member, The Honourable Jeffrey LAM Kin-fung, GBM, GBS, JP and a welcome speech by the Chairman of the Hong Kong Jewelry Manufacturers' Association, Ms. Bronia Yip, followed by a ribbon-cutting, lion dance and an eye-dotting ceremony, so that the venue presented the best spirit to meet the next three days of the International Jewelry Festival.
　JMA International Jewelry Design Competition Award Ceremony was also held on the same day. Some designer-sharing sessions were held, including jewelry designer Ms. Sarah Zhuang, Miss Hong Kong Ms. Sharon Luk, and Ms. Anne Heung. The lucky draw at the end of the day filled the venue with a warm and exciting atmosphere.
